Taman Teknologi Pahang (Gambang)

Taman Teknologi Pahang di Gambang dibangunkan untuk menjadi pemangkin untuk merangsang industri-industri berkaitan teknologi tinggi di negeri itu. Taman teknologi tersebut merangkumi komponen-komponen seperti taman makanan halal, bioteknologi, pusat teknologi maklumat dan komunikasi (ICT) dan pusat agritek. Dengan pembangunan itu, Gambang dilihat sebagai taman teknologi utama di dalam koridor timur.

Taman Teknologi Pahang terdiri dari Taman Halal Gambang, Pahang Halal Park Food Complex dan Taman Sains Gambang.

Gambang CyberTECH City (331 acre)

Gambang CyberTech City (GCC) with the design theme of “Building in the park” was conceived and deemed as appropriate in achieving environmental economic and socialpolitical suatainability. The GCC has within its 12 distinct buildings each architecturally designed for knowledge-based companies at various stage of growth such ac Administration Buillding, Data Centre Building, Innovation Centre Building, Convention Centre, Incubator Centre, SME, SOHO, Industrial Area, Apartment Building & facility, Club House etc. It will be developed in two phases from 2012-2020 by the Pahang Technology Park Sdn Bhd, the joint venture company with the Pahang State Development Corporation (PKNP) and Pahang Technology Resources Sdn Bhd. Phase 1 (111 acre) 2012-2015 and Phase II (220 acre)2015-2020.

Pahang Halal Food Complex (12.6 acre)

The Pahang Halal Food Complex is part of Pahang Technology Park focusing on producing food and non-food industries in accordance with Syariah principles. The setting up of the Halal Park would ensure recognition of halal practices and products at the international level and thereby strengthening Malaysian produced halal goods as the products of choice globally.

The park houses incubation centres for small and micro-food enterprises. At the park, a Halal Complex is implemented by Pahang State Development Corporation (PKNP) and the construction of factory building (ranging between 722 to 1,300 metre square) with the acreage of 12.56 acres have already completed. Currently, three Bumiputera companies have been selected to operate at the Pahang Halal Food Complex starting from March 2012. Initially the companies will be offered with a renting scheme for a ten years period. List of the companies are:

  • Mama Bake Enterprise (Product: Bakeries & Pastries)
  • Syarikat Wan Industry (M) Sdn Bhd (Product: Traditional Food)

In line with that, the Eastern Economic Region Development Corporation (ECERDC) will developed an additonal area of 194 acres for halal food industry with its aim to become an international halal food hub in the branding, processing and marketing of halal food.

ECERDC Halal Product Industry and GELNAS – Halan Gelatine Product (194 acre)

Halal Product Industry Park is a integrated project with the support infrastructure facilities which will be developed by ECERDC. Main components are Warehouse, Commercial Zone, Industrial Zone, HubLogistic, CPPC and Administration Office.

Additional Development by ECERDC (721 acre)

It s a future project that will be undertake by East Coast Economic Development Council (ECERDC) at Gambang area with the proposed total development area of 721 acre.
