Ianya adalah penggerak utama yang memacu pertumbuhan kegiatan ekonomi di wilayah ini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Rizab Minyak dan Gas Malaysia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Malaysia dikurniakan dengan kedua-dua sumber tenaga konvensional (tidak diperbaharui) dan tidak konvensional (diperbaharui). Sumber tenaga tidak diperbaharui terbesar ditemui di Malaysia adalah petroleum (iaitu minyak dan gas) yang sedang dengan giat dicari gali. Pengeluaran minyak dalam Malaysia berlaku di luar pesisir pantai dan terutamanya berhampiran Semenanjung Malaysia. Kebanyakan dari lapangan minyak negara mengandungi sulfur rendah, minyak mentah berkualiti tinggi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Kluster Minyak dan Gas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Di Pahang, industri minyak dan gas berkelompok di <a href=\"https:\/\/investinpahang.gov.my\/bm\/invest-in-pahang\/industrial-areas\/gebeng-industrial-estate\/\">Kawasan Perindustrian Gebeng<\/a>. The industrial areas are located near the source of oil and gas exploration activities. The Government has allocated about RM70 billion in order to develop plants, dedicated port facilities as well as other various communication and support facilities to ensure the efficiency of the oil and gas activities in the state. Both industrial areas are well planned and structured, and able to meet the specific needs of economic activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dalam rangka untuk meningkatkan lagi kegiatan industri minyak dan gas, Kerajaan Persekutuan telah memperuntukkan sekitar RM150 juta dalam Rancangan Malaysia ke 10 untuk memperbaiki prasarana asas di Pahang seperti menaik taraf sistem jalan, pembesaran pelabuhan Kuantan dan bandar sekitar pelabuhan.
