In an effort to further stimulate the economy in Pahang, PKNP has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nextgreen Global Berhad to develop the Green Technology Park on a site spanning 1,048.159 hectares (2,590.00 acres) in Paloh Hinai, Mukim Lepar, Pekan District, Pahang Darul Makmur on July 26, 2024. The Green Technology Park project aims to attract investors both locally and internationally, focusing on the development of green technology in Pahang to benefit the local population and the state of Pahang.
The event took place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in conjunction with the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2024. The MOU signing ceremony was conducted by the Honourable Dato’ Mohd Faizal bin Jaafar, Chief Executive Officer of PKNP, accompanied by Mr. Mohd Razif bin Abdul Malek, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Development) of PKNP, and witnessed by the Honourable Dato’ Kamarul’Arifin bin Ahmad @ Abd Rahman, State Investment Business Officer of Pahang, and the Honourable Tuan Ir. Razali bin Kassim, EXCO for Public Works, Transportation, and Health of Pahang whilst representatives from Nextgreen Global Berhad included Mr. Onny Iriawan bin Othman, Managing Director of Nextgreen Global Berhad.
Also present to witness this significant moment were PKNP’s related officers from the Business Monitoring, Corporate Affairs, and Industrial Department.
