Under the auspices of Invest Pahang, PKNP also took part in the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2024, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from July 25 to 27, 2024. As a One Stop Agency (OSA) for the manufacturing sector in Pahang, PKNP is committed to assisting Pahang in attracting more investors both domestically and internationally. In addition to promoting investment in Pahang, PKNP also provided relevant information to agencies, individuals, and foreign delegations visiting the PKNP booth.
To facilitate engagement, PKNP organized several discussion sessions and meetings scheduled to be held in the Invest Pahang booth meeting area. These sessions helped potential investors meet directly with PKNP representatives to obtain further information. Dato’ Mohd Faizal bin Jaafar, Chief Executive Officer of PKNP, and Mr. Mohd Razif bin Abdul Malek, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Development) of PKNP, also attended SIBS 2024 to strongly support the promotion of investment in Pahang.
Also presenting at the Invest Pahang booth were other statutory agencies such as the Perbadanan Setiausaha Kerajaan Pahang (PSK), the Lembaga Perumahan & Hartanah Pahang (LPHP), and the Perbadanan Kemajuan Cameron Highland (PKCH). Other participating agencies and strategic partners included the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), Antares Park Development Sdn. Bhd., Tanjung Agas Industrial Area (TAIA), Tanah Makmur Berhad, Kuantan Port Consortium Sdn. Bhd., Gading Group Berhad, Amat Bayu Sdn. Bhd., Mirfalah Sdn. Bhd., and Farm Fresh Berhad. Additionally, PKNP’s wholly-owned subsidiary, PKNP Tenun Pahang Sdn. Bhd., also joined the Invest Pahang booth to promote the Tenun Pahang Diraja products to visitors.
SIBS 2024 marks PKNP’s second participation following a successful engagement at SIBS 2023. PKNP will continue to collaborate with all agencies and government bodies in Pahang to ensure the state’s economy remains robust and delivers positive economic growth.
